About the Event
These community farming workshops are an opportunity to get your hands in the soil, connect with our farm and farmers, and learn some basic regenerative farming skills. Workshop activities vary depending on the week and may include seeding, transplanting, weeding, preparing beds for planting, harvesting, watering, caring for our animals, and more. When there's an opportunity, we'll have you taste just-harvested veggies too.
Kids under 13 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Anyone 13-18 years must have a parent or guardian sign a liability waiver upon drop-off.
Please wear close-toed shoes (required). We recommend comfortable farming attire with good coverage from the sun. Please bring: water, sunscreen, hat and optional snack.
Meeting Point: Farming Fridays begin promptly at 9AM. Meet under "THE FARM" sign, just north of the Brewery. Please arrive 15 mins early to accommodate for parking. You might be directed to our overflow street parking on Paseo de las Flores, which includes a 7-10 min walk to the property. Be aware that Friday mornings are busy because of two events starting at 9.
