One of the most special traditions during the holidays is getting in the kitchen with your children to make classic, sometimes sacred, recipes. Chef Sierra of Fox Point Bakehouse is joining you in this Mama + Me Pie Making Workshop to teach you how to make pie from scratch, adding another recipe to your family’s cookbook and preparing you for an exciting holiday season of making together. 

How Mama + Me Workshops work

• Each ticket includes one parent/adult + one child
• Add-on another child for $20
• Each child that’s over 2 years old needs a ticket
• Children 2 and under do not need a ticket
• Your ticket includes 1 adult size pie and 1 child size pie. Additional kid tickets will come with a child size pie

In the Workshop...

• Learn how to make an apple crumble pie!
• Roll and crimp pie dough
• Cut and peel apples
• Create an apple filling base
• Make your own crumble mixture
• Assemble a complete pie to take and bake at home.

Seasonal ingredients from our farm and other trusted growers will be amongst our ingredients. Look to Chef Sierra! She will work alongside you to help you troubleshoot any tricky steps.

Enjoy a complimentary drink (for each participant) during the class and take home your pie and a recipe card to continue mastering the dessert at home. This workshop will take place on the North Terrace of Haven Farm + Table (facing the farm side). Feel free to take either staircases to get here. Please note: No dogs allowed.

Fresh, simple ingredients, a homemade recipe, and your kids’ hands involved—get ready to learn how to make potentially your most favorite pie this year. Look forward to smelling, slicing into, and cozying up on the couch together with a slice of pie you all made!
